Play: 25th December

This is my favorite Christmas song, although I think it’s a better song for the week between Christmas and New Year’s. There’s magic, as well as melancholy, and epiphany. Good for this time of year when, if we’re lucky, we’re granted a brief respite from the pursuits of adults and granted, just for a bit, a return to the wonder of childhood.

It’s always bittersweet to give that up again and go back to real life, as great as real life may be. Enjoy it. I’ll be back in early January.
