Play: Crash Years

by Andrew Keys on March 31, 2010

One of my most favorite bands ever, like of all time, in the whole wide world, has a new album out in May. I can’t wait. Meanwhile, here’s a sample.

(Minds out of the gutter! This is a family blog! Their name is a reference to a satirical Japanese film.)

Pre-order the album on Amazon*

Very funny…I was trying to come up with a site that combined gardening and music, but how to combine erecting a deer fence and the Wilco show I saw last night? I found your place while searching for people’s thoughts on the NP’s “Crash Years”!
Love the new single…it goes perfectly with the bright warm sun and exploding magnolias, hellebores, and narcissus we’ve been experiencing in Maryland.
The New Pornographers are also one of my all time favorites and “Crash Years” has me excited for the new album. Now, if I can just convince my wife to go see them for a fourth time at the 9:30 Club in May! I look forward to checking back.

T.P.: Dude, you’ve come to the right place! Actually, Wilco and deer fence go together in my mind like peas in a pod. Nice to e-meet you, and thanks for commenting!
